About Momentum Racing
Our History
Momentum Racing was established in 2023 by a group of 5 Juniors at DuPont Manual High School who shared a passion for racing. The team is preparing for F1 in Schools nationals in Charlotte, North Carolina in early April.
Our Team
Our team consists of 5 Juniors who are very experienced with STEM at the High School level. All the students on the team are passionate about F1 and follow the sport. This interest brought them together to form a team.
F1 in Schools Challenge
F1 in Schools hosts a global challenge where teams of students aged 9 to 19 use CAD software to design, analyze, and race miniature compressed air-powered cars. Teams participating in the challenge are required to secure sponsorships and manage budgets to cover expenses like research, travel, and accommodation.
